He thanks you for ridding the land of the vial monster and in return gives you the Shield of Windhowl.
Stone Of Life Quest
Option 1
Once you find the Druids/Stonehenge,go talk to the NPC's until you find a character named Yrian Earthsong. Say "name" and "work". He begins by telling you that the forest is
your friend and mentions something about a Stone of Life and if it fell
into the wrong hands, disaster would be upon us.This is where it gets interesting,
if you say "Stone of Life" twice to him, he will tell you that it's
been stolen. He also mentions that an Orc might have it. You
then proceed to find the Orc Renegade Leader which resides in Jarko's
Lair/cave. Ask the Orc about the "Stone of Life" and he will say that he had it but... a troll stole it from him. Seek out the Mhorgwloth the Troll and talk to him, say "stone of life"
and he will say that he likes shiny rocks. Now for this, you need to
have a diamond. I would get the diamond at Sunrock's before starting.
Say "diamond" to him and he exchanges the stone for the diamond.
Go back to Yrian Earthsong and give him the stone for which he thanks you
and in return gives you a Twisted Staff/dagger.
Option 2

Both can be found at the Orc Camp. One will be found just north of the camp spot Upon successfully defeating either of these two, they sometimes drop Yellow Powder. Take this powder back to the Mage Tower and speak with Lothan. He too is looking for stuff to make his magical ingredients complete. By saying "Yellow Powder" to him, a few things might happen here. They are all good but it's a roll of the dice as to what you get. Either a Ring of Initiate,
Gloves of the Duelist or Gloves of thieving, or 850 gold.
Dorken Rotsmell Quest
NW of the town of Lighthaven, at a dirt patch, you will find a goblin named Dorken Rotsmell. His
spawn is extremely random and rare. Kill him. He will make another NPC sick from Goblin Fever. Go to the tavern in Lighthaven.

talk to the Farmer. He will give you an herb leaf to cure the Goblin Fever. Take the leaf back to the Lighthaven tavern and heal her. Now, talk to the Tavern owner. He will thank you and reward you. Reward: Various Items, some great, some normal ( Belt of Courage is one.)

Goblin Quest - Trust Quest
Note - You must have killed Balork in the Lighthaven Dungeon or
the Old Hermit says you do not need his trust.
By going thru Brigand's Cave you will find the Old Hermit. Say "trust" to him. Now, you
must earn his trust. He will send you to see his daughter. In the town of Windhowl,
right below the temple, look for a lady named Mirak Nira. Talk to
her and say "Old Hermit". You have to say it 3 times before
she will talk about her father. The next word you need to say is
"trust". She will give you the task to kill 100 goblins.
She does not count any previous kills, so start this part early on.
After you have your 100 goblins dead, go back to her and say "Old Hermit"
and then "trust". She will give you her ring of trust to take to her father,
the Old Hermit. Once you are at the Old Hermit, all you need to do is say
"trust" and he will take the ring of trust and give you an Amulet of Precision
and 4000 experience.
Portal to Raven's Dust Quest
Once you have completed the Trust Quest, continue to talk with The Old Hermit. Say "miracle" and the "wizardry" to him. He will tell you about the Mage Lian Clar. Go back to Windhowlk and see Lian Clar. Say "portal" to him. Follow the rest of the instructions. He will charge you a hefty sum for your first teleport to Raven's dust, but from then on the trip is free. Just return to him, say "send" and "yes" and you teleport again to Raven's Dust. Your teleport destination
will be at the fountain.
Nightsword Quest
First, go talk to Jagar Kar, the Powerful Blow trainer in Lighthaven, and say "sword of fury". He
will tell you how he really wants one. Then, find and kill goblin warlords til you get a Sword of Fury. Take the SoF to Jagar Kar and say "sword of fury". He will trade you a NightSword for the sword of Fury. To get a gloomblade, you have to trade the nightsword, a ring of darkness, and a scroll of enchantment to Lance Silversmith. He will make you the sword.
Balork
In Lighthaven find Kalaster, the npc who trains dodge, say "Balork". He will tell you how evil Balork and how he knows nothing about being evil. Go to the fourth floor in the temple dungeon, find Balork and say "evil" to him. He will ask you to help him and his friends. He will then you give a password ( usually nightingale). Beware, he will try to kill you after he is done talking. Run. Do not kill him. Return to Kalaster, say "nightingale" (or password Balork gives you if different). He will to ask for missions periodically. Then say "mission". He will tell you to go talk to Edgar Gimpleston and get some money. Find Edgar Gimpleston, say "protection". He will attack you. Kill him to get the gold (1000+ and some exp). Return to Kalaster, he will know about your completing the mission. He will ask if you got the gold, say "yes". he will again tell you about missions. Go to Kalaster every so often for missions.
Notes: DO NOT kill Balork! By killing him, you get his mark. Balork's mark will void certain aspects for further parts of this quest. There are several missions Kalaster will give.
Gambling
Feeling lucky? Want to take a chance on doubling those hard earned gold pieces? Will Lady Luck smile on you or will you once again become a poor adventurer. The choice is yours to make. Travel to Thieves town and talk to the NPC Totak. Key words: Work, Wagers. Have fun and good luck!
Runic Scripting Kit
Items needed:
1: Yellow Powder ----- From Araf Kul or Roshnak Tul at Arakas orc camp.
2: Flask of Goblins Blood ----- Count Hemogoblin drops in cave by Jarkos. On old maps, was labeled cave A in upper most left chamber. Also, some goblins in Jarko's, 3rd level, now drop the blood.
3: Feather ----- from Jarkos goblin warchiefs, and numerous other monsters now.
4: Spider Venom ----- Dark Spiders drop.
5: Diamond ----- from chest next to Lord Sunrock.
The Mage in the backside of the Lighthaven Mage Tower will make the Runic Scripting kit.
The things you can make after you get the enchanted scroll is stuff from Lance Silversmith on Arakas (he is in house across river straight down from orc camp) labeled I on Mad's old map of Arakas. He makes blessed chainmail, demon blade and gloomblade and probably other stuff but not sure what else. I haven't been able to get him to make anything else. He won't actually make the demon blade yet and the gloomblade, I hear, is not a weapon but evil quest item.
Note: Buy a blank scroll. To make it magic (enchanted) you have to take to Araknor in t1 (mage who teaches lesser drain spell) and he will make it magic for a cost.
Evil Path to Raven's Dust
First, speak with Balork in the Lighthaven temple dungeon. Use the keyword "evil". He will give you a password, "Nightingale", which you must then say to Kalastor (the dodge trainer in Lighthaven) to gain entrance into the Brotherhood of Shadows. You can kill Balork without affecting the quest, but be warned...he will put a curse on you which I do not believe can be removed through any of the evil quests.
After giving the password to Kalastor, he asks you to do a little job for him. This involves roughing up a merchant named Edgar, acquiring some protection money from him, then returning with the money to Kalastor. This done, you are ready to receive a second mission from Kalastor. He will not give this mission until you have access to the Black Market. To gain Black Market access: see above
Now that you have Black Market access Kalastor should give you a second mission. I'm not entirely sure, but I believe this may also be level dependent. If he is still giving the Edgar mission, keep trying as you gain levels. Eventually he will ask you to look up a friend of his on Raven's Dust named Shadeen. He says it is difficult to get there, and some sorcery may be required. He directs you to the wizards in Windhowl. In Windhowl, visit Liurn Clar. Say keyword "teleport". He will tell you that he can't teleport you because Sunrock will cut off his funding. He then directs you to an orc up north who may be able to help. Inside Jarko's caves you will find the Renegade Orc Leader. Say "give scroll" to him and he will offer to give you a 'scribble paper' in exchange for a 'big glum sword'. He's looking for a Gloomblade. He'll attack you if you agree to the trade and you don't have the Gloomblade.
Lance Silversmith will make the Gloomblade for you if you have the proper items. He is located in a house northwest of Lighthaven, and he won't speak with you unless you are level
16 or higher. He'll tell you he needs a Ring of Darkness, Scroll of Enchantment
and a Nightsword (and 10,000 gold, if memory serves). Nightsword: Goblin Warlords occasionally
drop a Sword of Fury. Take one of these to the Powerful Blow trainer in Lighthaven. Use keyword "Sword of Fury" and he will offer to trade a Nightsword for the Sword of Fury. I'm not absolutely sure, but I believe you must have negative karma for him to offer the trade. Ring of Darkness: These are dropped fairly regularly from the Dark Key chest in Jarko's. I've heard certain
undead monsters also drop them, but I've never verified this. Scroll of Enchantment: To start,
you will need a Runic Scripting Kit and a Plain Blank Scroll. The plain blank scroll can be purchased from one of the mages in Windhowl. The Kit is made by a mage in Lighthaven when you bring him Goblin Blood, Yellow Powder, Spider Venom, Feather and a Diamond. Count Hemogoblin, located in one of Jarko's caves, drops the blood. Araf Kul or Roshnak Tul drop yellow powder. Dark Spiders drop venom. Goblin Warchiefs or Orc Shamans drop feathers. The diamond comes from Lord Sunrock's chest in Windhowl.
After acquiring the kit and scroll, go to Araknor in Lighthaven. Say "blank magic scroll" and he will use the kit and plain blank scroll to make the blank magic scroll. Take the blank magic scroll, the runic kit and a human bone (Araf Kul and Roshnak Tul drops these as well)
to one of the mages in Windhowl. He will make
a Scroll of Enchantment. You can now get the Gloomblade,
trade it to the orc, get a Scroll of Silversky and enjoy life in Raven's
Dust. You will find that after completing the quest both the pot shop in
RD and the shop in Windhowl are now selling Scrolls of Silversky, should
you find yourself in need of another. And that's it. A royal pain in
the rear, but such is the price of evil :)
